Future Leaders Program
Future Leaders is a three year innovative program jointly initiated by the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation, the Winemakers’ Federation of Australia, the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation and Wine Grape Growers’ Australia. WBM – Australia’s Wine Business Magazine, is the program’s Founding Partner and plays an important role in distributing information about the program and profiling participants.
Participants undertake a series of course components that cover personal leadership, tacit leadership, strategic leadership, international leadership and leading change.
The first Future Leaders Program was launched in September 2006 and proved a valuable way to not only pass on the wisdom of our “veterans”, provide opportunities to develop important leadership, collaboration and networking skills, but also foster placement of participants on boards and committees in the Australian wine industry.
The Corporations commitment to this program remains high and has already resulted in a significant contribution to the future success of the wine sector.
