The Corporation's Wine Australia Market Programs provide a platform for our members to present Australia as the most relevant and compelling wine category in the market.
As we continue to defend and build our market share, attract new customers at higher price points and invest in market leadership, we strongly encourage your involvement . The 2006-07 Programs in conjunction with other Wine Australia projects, have been developed to increase awareness and educate key international trade and media, as well as to provide a clear and positive image of Australian wine to international consumers.
The Market Programs are run through our network of international Wine Australia offices, each operating an annual subscription program of initiatives aimed at promoting positive wine category awareness for Australia and identifying individual brand opportunities for program members. Each Market Program is devised and coordinated by a regional manager and a local market team, along with collaborative input and experience from supporting members.
Market activity is dictated by required industry outcomes and a strategic agenda directed by the Corpration's Market Development Advisory Committee. Individual programs are also tailored to reflect the level of category maturity in a given market, as well as all relevant local cultural and economic sensitivities.
The benefits of Market Programs membership include:
- Improved and differentiated opportunity to present member brands under our four themed personalities: Brand Champions, Regional Heroes, Generation Next and Landmark Australia at Wine Australia events and activities.
- International Visit Program – key media and trade buyer visits to Australia as part of our important relationship program.
