Based mainly on the Australian Bureau of Statistics Vineyards Survey, the on-line Viticulture database and related reports enable users to determine, by GI region and variety (40 varieties), areas under vine, plantings, removals and tonnages of winegrapes produced for wine. The time series dates back to 2000 while some of the prepared reports contain data as far back as the 1970s.
The database and reports are free to Australian wine producers, exporters and grape-growers. There are some reports that are publically available while others come at a cost to some users.
To access the database and reports Sign In or Sign Up. If you are a winegrape or export levy payer, please include your levy payer ID when signing up - this will give you free access to all reports and data on the website.
