Wine Australia supports a prosperous Australian grape and wine community by investing in research and development, marketing, disseminating knowledge, encouraging adoption and protecting the reputation of Australian wine.

The Research, Development and Adoption (RD&A) team works with representative organisations, wine sector bodies and research partners to support the long term success of the Australian grape and wine community.  The team directs and manages grape and wine R&D and facilitates the dissemination, adoption and commercialisation of the results to the industry, helping to build excellence through the adoption of research and other investment incomes.

This will require supporting sector-led and demand-driven activities, along with thought leadership to design effective extension and adoption pathways across the full suite of Wine Australia-supported R&D.

This role is fundamental to enabling grape and wine sector stakeholders to maximise impact arising from the R&D investment portfolio, as well as representing Wine Australia in cross-sector collaborations. Working closely with the RD&A team and external providers, a key aspect of this role is the ability to identify and influence the design of research projects and activities to enhance adoption and behavioural change initiatives.

This is an exceptional role where you will be a key member within a strong, committed and professional team, supporting a prosperous Australian grape and wine community.  While Adelaide is the preferred base location, other accessible base locations will be considered.
