Wine Export Charge
If you think that the amount of the Wine Export Charge payable by you in any financial year will be less than $1,000, you can apply to the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources for an exemption from lodging quarterly returns.
To make this application, a request can be sent to the Secretary at the email address: email@example.com
This form is provided to help you submit your application to the Department. Once complete, it will have all of the information that is required to assist the Secretary make their decision. When you submit the application, it will be emailed to the Levies Management address with a copy to you for your records.
The Department will advise you about the outcome of your application. Wine Australia is not authorised to consider your request. If you gain an exception, you only need to lodge one return per year, due 28 days after the end of the financial year to which it relates. The Department will review exceptions on an annual basis and will notify you should your exemption not be continued.
