Explore the diversity and ageability of Australian wine at the Old vine, Aged Wine master class tasting, held in Hong Kong.
Australian Trade and Investment Commission and Wine Australia co-host an exclusive master class ' Old Vines, Aged Wines' in Hong Kong. Presented by Wine Australia’s Global Education Manager, Mark Davidson is excited to showcase the age ability of Australian’s fine wines and present a cross-section of carefully selected wines that while displaying character and charm in their youth, have the capacity to age gracefully for many years. This tasting also provides an opportunity to discuss the myths and realites surrounding wines made from old vines. Museum stocks of Australian wine are generally very scarce. However, given the importance of the Hong Kong market, the wineries have generously agreed to send wines for this unique opportunity.
To help you explore the diversity and stories behind Australian old vines and aged wine, we have 12 of Australia's exciting fine wines from 7 wineries and 7 regions. We hope you'll enjoy making new discoveries as well as comparing the aged and recent vintages of the same wines, and you'll have an opportunity to discuss the myths and realites surrounding wines made from old vines.
