About the reports
The State Export Reports provide an overview of packaged wine exports where there is a GI region claim on the label and groups those exports by state. They do not provide a full picture of all wine that has been produced and exported from a specific state.
The State Export Reports provide an overview of packaged wine exports by state in Australia, where a GI region has been identified. They include statistics on the volume, value, and average value of packaged wine exports by colour and wine style, price point and destination for the past 12 months compared with the previous equivalent 12-month period. Historical total export volume, value and average value statistics are also provided.
All label claim data presented in this report is for wine which is primarily identified by a region belonging to the reported state. For example, one bottle of King Valley/Riverina blend will contribute towards the Victorian state report and be excluded from the New South Wales report. When the wine is not regionally identified, it is not included in this report.
Individual reports have been prepared for 4 states in Australia:
Reports for other states and previous time periods are available on request. Contact email@example.com for more information.
The reports are updated quarterly, coinciding with the release of Wine Australia’s Export Report
