The Wine Australia China Roadshow 2016 will visit four cities in mainland China from 14 to 22 April providing a one-stop Australian wine showcase for local wine trade and buyers.

The Roadshow is an important annual promotion for Australian wine in China and this year will highlight more than 300 fine Australian wines from more than 70 brands across 30 wine regions.

The Roadshow will visit:

  • Shanghai on 15 April (Friday)
  • Xiamen on 18 April (Monday)
  • Changsha on 20 April (Wednesday)
  • Qingdao on 22 April (Friday)

This year, an exclusive trade buyer tasting and a grand tasting will be organised in each city and a consumer tasting will be held in Shanghai.

An A+ Australian Wine School Level 1 course will be held and a grand tasting will follow the buyer tasting in the afternoon in Xiamen, Changsha and Qingdao.

In Shanghai, Andrew Caillard MW, the co-founder of Langton’s Classification, will deliver a master class to invited trade and media.
