Where are US wine consumers going? 

Danny Brager, Senior Vice President of Beverage Alcohol Practice at Nielsen, recently presented on the US market at the Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference. His presentation offers a comprehensive look at the US wine market, the opportunities it presents and Australia’s position in the market. Optimistic signs in US exports 

The United States Export Snapshot reveals that in the year ended June 2016, Australian exports to the United States increased by 8 per cent in value to $449 million. The bottled average value per litre increased by 15 per cent to $3.88 and the value of exports over $10 a litre increased by 16 per cent to $35 million. This is good news for Australia wine in a market that holds 22 per cent of our exported volume.
