Join the Wine Australia team, leading experts on smoke exposure management and your local industry peers for a practical workshop on smoke exposure, risk assessment and decision-making.

Explore the chemistry of smoke exposure, testing and analysis options throughout the growing season, and how the Wine Industry Smoke Detector system can support smoke-risk assessment. Learn how to interpret available information, understand the factors that influence smoke-related outcomes, and use industry tools and resources to support informed decisions in the vineyard and winery.

Drawing on Australia's world-leading smoke taint research and Wine Australia's expanding suite of industry tools, this free four-hour workshop will provide growers and winemakers with the knowledge, information and tools needed to assess smoke exposure risks and navigate the decisions that may arise during and after fire and smoke events. The workshop will help you better understand the available evidence and support more confident decision-making for your business.

Hunter Valley, Orange and Canberra workshops confirmed. Additional workshops planned for Margaret River, Manjimup, Great Southern, Yarra Valley, North-East Victoria, Macedon/Great Western, Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Limestone Coast - details to be confirmed.
