City Cellar Door ‘pops up’ to celebrate Aussie Wine Month

16 Apr 2015

Come and celebrate Aussie Wine Month with a free wine tasting at Wine Australia’s City Cellar Door, which pops up at Australia Square on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 May between 3 – 8pm.

Meet winemakers from regions across Australia as they pour a selection of their wines in celebration of the fourth annual Aussie Wine Month, an initiative from Wine Australia that encourages wine drinkers to discover the diversity, quality and regionality of our local wines.

Joining them will be farmers from Oysters Australia shucking fresh oysters on-site as well as charcuterie served by Salumi Australia.

In between wine tastings, visit the interactive Aroma Bar and smell your way to more wine knowledge as you learn about some of the main aromas found in wine.

Head to the Cheeky or Challenging video booth and test your new found knowledge with our Australian wine trivia challenge.

Share your City Cellar Door experience on social media using the #AussieWineMonth hashtag and you could win a dozen bottles of Australian wine valued at more than $400. Visit the Aussie Wine Month site for more details.
