Summer Red Blends Tasting Seminar

Australian winemakers and grape growers are renowned for being inspired by new and classic varieties from all over the world. Our creative winemakers are breaking boundaries by utilising their own insights as well as other’s influences to produce premium wines such as classic and innovative red wine blends that are well-recognised across the world.

Wine Australia co-hosted a Summer Red Blends Tasting Seminar with Wine inTuition on Monday 7 December 2020 in Sydney. The aim was to highlight the long tradition and history of red blends in Australia, learn how winemaking factors and techniques influence individual wine styles when blending; how Australia’s increasing knowledge of the culinary arts leads to a greater need for experimentation and breaking out of the traditional food and wine matches; and how Australia’s red blends can be perfect for the summer months.
