A new national campaign is launching this August celebrating the diversity of occasions that define today’s culture, giving customers the confidence that there really is no need to look any further than Australia because ‘We make a wine for that’.
Produced as a collaborative initiative for the wine sector, this domestic marketing campaign is designed to work with your brand, whether you’re a producer, distributor, or seller.
This free marketing toolkit is available to download now, giving you early access to campaign assets and templates to adapt and use across your own channels and customer touchpoints. Get campaign-ready ahead of the August launch and be part of showcasing the best of Australian wine.

It’s built around lifestyle moments like BBQs, camping trips, Friday wind-downs or dinner with mates, and reminds consumers that no matter the occasion there’s an Australian wine that fits.
This campaign is for everyone in the Australian grape and wine sector and wine trade. From wineries and cellar doors to retailers, on-premise, bars and state and regional associations. The campaign is designed to work with your brand.
The industry-wide campaign aims to demonstrate the quality and diversity of Australian wine, elevating it as the beverage of choice for more occasions. The campaign tagline is "we make a wine for that," reflecting that Australian wine offers a diverse range of wine varieties and styles that fit the bill for a range of occasions (e.g. weekend getaways, casual conversations with friends, etc).
Through sharing and celebrating all that Australian wine has to offer we want to encourage people to choose it for more 'moments.'
Australian wine is facing strong headwinds domestically and internationally. This campaign is a proactive way to:
- Win back relevance with drinkers who are aware of wine but who are not regular wine drinkers
- Tap into occasion-based and experience-led consumption trends
- Showcase the quality and diversity of Australian wines
- Bring the sector together under one strong, consumer-first message.
Wine Australia will activate a national consumer campaign from late July through PR, influencer engagement, digital advertising and lifestyle media. Submitted events will feature on a national calendar and be promoted via campaign channels to drive traffic and awareness.

Not at all. The toolkit is designed to be flexible so you can use what fits your brand and business. Refer to the Campaign Guidelines for ideas on how the toolkit can be used.
Editable templates are available for you to customise. Any changes or customisation of the campaign assets and templates must adhere to ABAC guidelines and ensure the advertising does not show Australian Wine in a negative way. It is the responsibility of the entity making the changes to seek appropriate approvals. Please refer to the Domestic Campaign Asset Guidelines for more information.
‘Enjoy responsibly’ messaging is included on the templates. Partners using the campaign should consider applying the DrinkWise messaging for their channels. More information can be found here: Resources - DrinkWise.
In addition, it is your responsibility to ensure that your social media accounts are age-gated, and responsible drinking messages are included in your post copy.
The campaign photography may only be used for the purpose of the ‘We make a wine for that’ Domestic Campaign in the form of the distributed templated Domestic Campaign Asset and only in accordance with the Guidelines, which is available for download on the Wine Australia website. Due to licensing restrictions, you may not extract the standalone image or edit the image in any way that is outside of what is allowed in the Guidelines.
Anything that links wine with real-life moments. Some ideas:
- A ‘Friday Wine Down’ tasting
- A wine + takeaway food pairing night
- A winter wine flight for fireside moments
- A picnic pack or wine and camping bundle
- A wine-and-chat Instagram Live or TikTok series
The goal is to make wine part of the moments your customers already value.
We will be promoting your event through our Wine Australia and Australian Wine digital channels. Your event images and information supplied will be used in the promotion of the events.On our website, where appropriate we may overlay the ‘We make a wine for that’ Australian Wine tagline device onto the event thumbnail image, to identify it as a campaign-related activity.
