A new generation of Australian winemakers is leading a cool climate revolution. Embracing high altitude sites and areas with cooling coastal influences, these pioneers are producing wines that are fresh, elegant and food-friendly.

Learn about the cooling influences of elevation and the ocean, and how they create unique conditions for some of Australia’s most exceptional wines. Cool conditions however are no guarantee of quality, fanatical attention to detail in the vineyard and winery is necessary.

Join us for this master class to explore the country’s climatic diversity, winemaking brilliance and innovative spirit, and discover what makes Australian wine great. The master class will be led by Thomas Curtius and it will be presented in German.

After the master class, there will be a free pour tasting so you can continue your exploration of Australian wine. The line-up features a diverse selection of contemporary Australian wine from producers including Alpha Box & Dice, Paxton Wines, Ten Minutes by Tractor, Patritti, Shaw + Smith and Ochota Barrels.
