Following the success of last year’s tasting in Antwerp, we’re delighted to return in April 2018 to showcase the quality and diversity of Australian wine.
2017 was a very positive year for Australian wine in Belgium: exports were up 8% to AUD $15.8 million. We hope to support further growth and spread the word of Aussie wine through this tasting for the trade.
This free pour tasting will demonstrate the diversity of Australian wine through the hero styles of the regions, from Margaret River in the west to Hunter Valley in the east. We have chosen 30 iconic, classic and modern styles which reflect their regional persona from some of Australia’s best-known regions, and a few that you may not have heard of. This is a chance to discover regional and varietal variations, and learn about the influence of cool climates.
Wines featured are from well-known producers like Brown Brothers and Ten Minutes by Tractor as well as some that might be new to you and your market such as Langmeil, Dandelion Vineyards and Katnook Estate.
