In the first Wine Australia UPA event in the USA market of 2019, exhibitors will have the opportunity to network with to top Bay Area trade, form new relationships with media, and generate new business leads.

Wine Australia will handle all aspects of event management and provide event equipment including signage, glassware, spittoons, ice, etc. A Wine Australia staff member will be stationed at each region during the event -- fully briefed on the region they are representing and the wines at the table. This will allow exhibitors to float across different regions and access key contacts.

Participation is open to all US importers with Australian brands currently in market.

Expressions of interest for this event are now closed.

Registrations opened on 5 November 2018 and closed 30 November 2018. The event has been promoted to Australian wine businesses via direct email from the Americas team.

The format of this year's tasting is a regional tasting through Australia. To ensure there is enough regional representation, wines will be confirmed after they have been submitted.

Participation is open to all US importers with Australian brands currently in market.

Cost
  • US$150 per SKU (minimum 5 SKUs)
  • Wine Australia will send an invoice by email for payment of the total cost in December  *US dollars
Wine requirement
  • US$14.99 SRP and above
Number of SKUs:
  • Minimum of 5 SKUs to participate, maximum of 20
  • Library vintages encouraged
Number of bottles per SKU:
  • 3-4 bottles
Number of representatives needed:
  • At least one representative to stay for the entirety of the tasting. Additional representatives are encouraged but not required.
  • Please include the names of all representatives on the registration form. If you aren’t sure who will be attending, please note that on the form.

Registration information

  • Please note that if you register you are committing to pay the amount requested and have at least one representative present at the event.
  • If you do not complete the form, you will not be registered for the event.
  • Participants are to cover the cost of wine logistics (wines must be brought in hand to the event), travel to and from the venue, accommodation and incidentals.
  • A call for wine will be sent separately after registration is closed.
