Wha does the Arable Mark 2 do?

Arable Mark 2 is an IoT-enabled all-in-one weather station and crop monitoring solution, collecting more than 40 weather and plant measurements in the vineyard. Growers can monitor rainfall, temperature, wind speed and humidity, crop ET, NDVI, vine water stress and more.

How does it work?

Arable’s predictive analytics and crop models synthesise climate and plant data to produce actionable insights into crop water balance, canopy conditions and crop health. Real-time information is delivered to a cloud-based web and mobile apps.

Solar-powered and connecting via LTE-M and NB-IoT cellular networks, the device installs in minutes, deploys with the press of a button and with no moving parts, requires no maintenance. Machine-learning technology allows for continuous improvement and reliability of data through a global calibration and validation network.

Auxiliary sensors, such as soil moisture probes, anemometers, and pressure switches can be connected to the Mark 2, which integrates third-party data into the Arable platform, allowing for in-field visibility. A robust API enables integration with any digital platform.

This system allows only fruit to fall into the bin or gondola and the separated MOG falls onto the ground in the vineyard.

The unit can be adapted to any harvesting system, including as a standard trailing sorter (mounted to a bin or gondola); boom mounted sorter (mounted to a discharge arm); in-harvester high capacity sorter (designed to fit inside a harvester, with vine shakers); and a high capacity trailing sorter mounted to a bin/gondola and designed for high tonne areas.
