Cabernet exports growing

Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Australia’s great red wines, is widely grown all over the country and is the second most widely planted variety in Australia. In the 12 months ended March 2016, Cabernet Sauvignon exports by 20 per cent to A$257 million – the highest level since 2008. Mainland China is the main destination for Cabernet exports and their value has increased by 60 per cent to A$68 million.
