Register now for the biggest Australia Day Tastings in London, Dublin and Edinburgh

Trade are invited to register for our three Australia Day Tastings, with events to be held in London, Dublin and Edinburgh together for the first time in January.

The Australia Day Tastings offer a comprehensive showcase of Australian wine commencing in London on Australia Day, Tuesday 26 January, with Dublin and Edinburgh following on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 of January.

The Australia Day Tasting has become a must-attend for trade. In London, Wine Australia will showcase more than 1000 wines and feature food and wine matching to highlight diversity, premiumisation and regionality. This year the event will show wines from 245 wineries across 80 tables of 63 exhibitors.

The inclusion of Edinburgh will see Wine Australia return to Scotland for the first time in seven years, while the Dublin event returns for the third annual tasting. Both events will offer more than 200 wines for tasting and are set to reinvigorate interest and Australian wine sales in these markets.

Both Wine Australia Chair Brian Walsh and Chief Executive Officer Andreas Clark will attend all three events and Mr Walsh will also host master classes in Dublin and Edinburgh, alongside Australian wine expert John McDonnell and Kilikanoon’s Nathan Waks respectively.

Wine Australia Head of Market UK and Europe Laura Jewell MW said the Australia Day Tastings provide the most comprehensive opportunity for UK and Ireland trade to experience premium Australian wine.

‘For the UK January is closely associated with Australian wine thanks to years of successful Australia Day Tastings in London. Now we’re excited to extend this event to give a greater audience the opportunity to taste these exceptional wines and meet many of the winemakers behind them,’ she said.

‘These are all strong markets for Australian wine and we’re delighted to bring these events together for the first time. I’m again calling for winemakers to join us on tour so collectively we can champion our wines to all sectors of the trade.’
