Plant parasitic nematode quantification and management strategies in viticulture

Summary

Unreliable quantification of nematodes has limited the definition of economic thresholds and the assessment of management options. Research was undertaken to determine the risk that particular levels of nematodes represent to production and to assess management options in the light of levels detected. The project also developed arobust DNA test in conjunction with the SARDI root disease testing service.
