CO23 Climate Mitigation Conference
Wine Australia is proud to support the ASVO Climate Mitigation Conference CO23, the first industry-wide conference on climate mitigation for the Australian grape and wine sector.
Attend CO23 to be informed on the key challenges and opportunities of reducing greenhouse emissions in the wine sector and build a deeper understanding of what is important to the sector.
The conference theme is covered in six sessions over two days bringing together experts to explain the science and early adopters to offer real-world strategies to drive value and sustainability for future success.
CO23 opens with the global and national session and an introduction to Wine Australia’s Emissions Reduction Roadmap, followed by a focus on practical ways and innovative solutions to transform how business operates and reduce greenhouse emissions. They are complemented by sessions on demystifying certification; tackling emissions throughout the value chain; carbon capture, use, and storage technologies; and a hands-on session about calculating scope 1 and 2 emissions from vineyards and wineries.
The conference runs from Thursday 15 June to Friday 16 June with multiple local venues in each state.
