WSET student? Aussie wine fan? General wine nerd? If this is you, or you just enjoy a good old quiz with a prize up for grabs, join us on Monday 10 May for our monthly TBC Quiz to test your wine knowledge.

We’ve converted our UK Tasting Blind Club into an online Tasting Blind Club Quiz, with the next session on Monday 10 May (7pm – 7.45pm BST). Tune in from home, pour yourself a glass of Aussie wine and get your thinking caps on. As well as having some fun, this is an opportunity to keep up your studies and refresh your Australian wine knowledge.

Wine Australia’s quizmaster Emma Symington MW will take you through four rounds of questions, with ten questions each. The first two rounds this month will focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Tasmania - you can brush up on these in our Australian Wine Discovered facilitator guides. Emma will be basing the questions on information contained in these guides. The second two rounds will cover other aspects of Australian wine as well as a ‘mixed bag’ of questions more broadly across the world of wine. Best score wins a case of Australian wine!

This online quiz is perfect for students preparing for their WSET, MW or Court of Master Sommeliers exams, but anyone from the trade is very welcome.

The quiz will take place on Zoom and it will last around 45 minutes. We will send you a link to join the session, simply click this link at or just before 7pm (GMT).

Emma will go through the answers at the end, and we’re trusting you to mark yourselves. The three participants with the highest scores will each win a bottle of premium Australian wine (UK addresses only).

Australian Wine Discovered provides information, tools and resources to discover and share Australian wine.
