The Australian Government is providing regular updates about COVID-19 here
Wine Australia hosts more than 130 visitors each year as part of its international and domestic visits program. The comprehensive program offers tailored visitor experiences for groups and individuals working in high profile positions in the wine trade and media industry, as well as key opinion leaders.
The visits provide an invaluable opportunity for participants to immerse themselves first hand in Australia's thrilling wine regions and to discover the diversity of fine wine Australia produces.
How are visitors selected?
Wine Australia works closely with key market contacts including importers, distributors and retailers to identify influential wine trade, media and educators to invite to Australia. Selection is determined by the potential commercial outcome of a visit and the visitor's ability to influence perceptions of Australian wine through new listings, media coverage and education.
We work closely with visitors to identify what they're excited by and passionate about and the regions, varieties, wine styles and brands that interest them. Wine Australia partners with state and regional associations, tourism and trade organisations to develop tailored itineraries that deliver exciting and memorable experiences.
