Wine Australia Further Afield Travel Scholarship

Summary

Objective

Wine Australia is collaborating with the University of Adelaide to support and encourage undergraduate and post graduate students to pursue 10-week industry placements outside of the grape growing and winemaking regions surrounding metropolitan Adelaide.

Wine Australia will provide funding to the University for travel scholarships for high achieving students that have secured placement opportunities in Australia and more than 250 kilometres outside of Adelaide in 2024 and 2025.

The scholarship will support travel to and from the regional destination and initial expenses associated with establishment of housing prior to the start of vintage placement.
