About the conference
The TEXSOM Conference, which will be held at the Irving Convention Centre in Dallas from 23-25 August 2026, is Wine Australia’s key education sponsorship annually in the US.
Wine Australia is looking to secure four tables during the Expo Trade Tasting sessions, on Sunday and Monday evening, to showcase up to 24 wines across both evenings. Three of these tables are open to expressions of interest. This is a great opportunity to get wines in front of this very influential audience of sommeliers and key industry experts and allows us to put our best foot forward as Team Australia.
Spotlight themes
The themes we will focus on at the Expo Tables this year are as follows:
- Emerging Varieties, specifically looking for newer Mediterranean varieties including Fiano, Vermentino, Nero d’Avola and more
- Old Vines, wines sourced from vineyards with a minimum of 50 years vine age
- Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, for the second year in a row, we will feature wines that have the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia trust mark on the label
Costs and criteria
- The cost per SKU is $125 USD
- We require 2 bottles of wine (to be shipped directly to TEXSOM)
- Final selections will be confirmed by June 1, 2026
- If you’re interested in having wines that fit the themes outlined above featured on our tables, please complete this form by Friday 15 May 2026
Sommelier picks
We are planning to feature sommelier picks on the fourth table, which will be fully funded by Wine Australia, and so not does require an EOI. Wine Australia will reach out directly to secure samples for this table.
Participating wineries need to be in distribution in the US, but wine can be shipped directly to TEXSOM by your importer, so wines do not need to be in distribution in Texas. If you choose to have your Texas distributor handle the shipment, then they will need to deliver to TEXSOM’s retail partner, TEXSOM will purchase the wine from the retailer, and then bill back the supplier for the total cost.
We look forward to profiling an exciting and diverse selection of Australian wines at this year’s conference, and continuing to build positive messaging around premium Australian wine with this audience
