Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado, USA

June 16 – 19, 2022
Details &
registration

The Food & Wine Classic in Aspen is one of the most anticipated events on the calendar in North America each year and delivered by America’s largest print and digital publisher.

Wine Australia, in collaboration with several investing partners, has secured the largest sponsorship presence at this year’s event being held on 16 - 19 June 2022.

With winemakers, celebrity chefs and culinary luminaries coming together in one breathtaking setting with up to 4,000 attendees. Media, retail and restaurant trade, and wine and food-obsessed consumers gather in Aspen for three days of tastings, cooking demos, wine and beverage seminars, and exclusive networking opportunities. Many of the country’s future food and drink trends are introduced at this annual event, along with countless business to business conversations between chefs and food vendors, buyers and alcohol brands.

Wine Australia, Austrade, South Australia’s Department for Trade and Investment, Wine Victoria, Wines of Western Australia and Meat & Livestock Australia are all coming together to deliver an extraordinary experience for attendees at this year’s event under the campaign theme, Down to Earth.

Beyond the event, an integrated marketing campaign will be delivered from June to October 2022 through print, digital, video and social to promote Australia’s premium food and wine offering with top trade and highly engaged consumers.

The event activation in Aspen includes a large exhibitor stand in the Grand Tasting Pavilion for three days of trade and consumer tastings and exclusive wine sponsorship at the Welcome Party for VIP trade, media and guests. The Food & Wine team have also chosen Australia as the destination theme for their Mountaintop Party, ‘Down Under, Up Top’, one of the most high-profile events of the weekend. There will be a number of Australian wines featured in seminars throughout the weekend, while the July issue of Food & Wine magazine, distributed at the event, will feature a two page spread promoting key messaging around Australian wine and food.

Wineries will be approached if there are opportunities to feature your wines at any of the event activations, and we encourage US exporters to leverage this investment and spotlight on premium Australian wine and food messaging in discussions with trade, and with importers and distributors who may be attending the event.
