Why ProWine Mumbai?
Australia is the market leader in the imported wine category in India and there is opportunity to build on this through the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement which has reduced tariffs on Australian premium wine entering India.
ProWine Mumbai will serve as a platform for Australian principals to interact with Indian importers and showcase their wines to a target audience of importers, distributors, hotels and restaurants, sommeliers, media, high-net worth individuals and consumers.
Relationships in the Indian market can take time to develop and there is no substitute for simply ‘being there’ – and what better way than as Team Australia.
Forecast to be the world’s third largest economy by 2030, is India the next market in your diversification strategy? If yes, we encourage you to complete an EOI and stay tuned for more details on the ProWine Mumbai 2025 program.
