With COVID-19 severely restricting traditional routes to market, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels are now more important than ever for Australian wine businesses. Wine Australia is hosting experienced international DTC specialist Georgia Rasmussen for this free, special two-part webinar series, as she introduces eight core principles for wineries to help grow DTC sales opportunities. Also hear from guest wineries about their own DTC journey. Georgia will share valuable tips and practical resources in this two-part webinar series not to be missed by wineries interested in growing their business.

A recording of the first webinar is accessible by Australian wine sector levy payers only and can be viewed here.  If you would like to discuss any aspects of this presentation, please contact Georgia directly at consulting@georgiarasmussen.com.au

Speakers

Georgia Rasmussen

Direct to Consumer Strategist

Georgia Rasmussen has spent over 25 years as a Direct-to-Consumer specialist. Her career has taken her from Sydney (Cellarmaster wines), to Napa Valley (Beringer Wine Estates), to Melbourne (Fosters) and over the past 12 years she has split her time between Adelaide and Sydney running her DTC Consultancy business in the wine, food and lifestyle categories.

Georgia is passionate about helping businesses set up and grow their DTC channel, using tried and tested direct marketing techniques and analytics, and she has deep contacts in the wine sector in Australia and California. She is very interested in the current market dynamics and the rate at which the COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating the shift to direct sales - and the opportunity this presents for wineries.
