Australian Wine Made Our Way Trade Tasting is the anchor trade event during Aussie Wine Week 2018 and Wine Australia's largest annual New York trade tasting. It is timed to drive major awareness and excitement around Australian wines in the New York market at the start of the annual pre-holiday sales push.
In addition to the trade tasting, there is a seminar, Retail Taste-Around, Consumer tasting event at Corkbuzz Union Square, Apres bar at Terroir Tribeca, distributor brunch and Aussie wine and food experiences at restaurants. There is no sign-up for the other events. Wines have been requested on an as-needed basis.
What time is set up for the Made Our Way - Trade Tasting?
Setup begins at 11:30 am. Setup must be complete by 12:30pm.
How will we get our wines to the venue?
You may courier the wines over before 11am or arrive with wines in-hand at 11:30 setup.
Registration for the Trade Tasting opened on 12 July 2018 and closed on 26 July 2018.
Exhibitors in the trade tasting have to be importers with Australian wine in-market. Cost to participate is $750 per table (to exhibit up to 10 SKUs) or $400 per table (to exhibit up to 5 SKUs).
The event was promoted to Australian wine businesses via direct emails from Wine Australia team members. Participation fee was required for importers to attend Trade Tasting. All stakeholders were also notified of the Retail Taste Around and encouraged to work with their retail partners in new York to organize tasting opportunities.
