Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers have teamed up to run trade tastings together in Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland.
Following a successful Australia and New Zealand tasting in the Netherlands in 2025, we will be returning to Amsterdam and adding Antwerp and Warsaw to create a Europe roadshow.
The event comprises a trade tasting and a masterclass in each city, where we will showcase Australia and New Zealand’s distinctive terroirs, vibrant winemaking communities and thrilling wines. In Warsaw, we will also run a consumer tasting after the trade session.
Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers teaming up enables importers to showcase a wider portfolio at the event, and it helps buyers, retailers and sommeliers get the most out of a day away from their business. Guests will travel from across Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and further afield, so it is cost-effective, time-efficient, and offers greater exploration of the southern hemisphere. We have planned the roadshow across one week so visiting winemakers and winery principals can minimise their travel and time away from Australia and New Zealand.
The event is a platform for wineries and importers to meet buyers, distributors, retailers, sommeliers, media and educators. With direct access to key influencers and decision-makers, the tastings will help you to gain new business leads, secure listings and increase your in-market presence.
Registration is open for Australian and New Zealand wineries, and importers, distributors and agents in Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland. Full and half tables are available, and they can feature both Australian and New Zealand wines. Exhibitors can participate in one city, two cities or all three cities. After the tasting in Antwerp on 28 September, we will travel by train (approximately 90 minutes) that evening to Amsterdam for the tasting on 29 September.
We look forward to welcoming Australian and New Zealand winemakers and winery principals to the event. The presence of winemakers and principals really helps to tailor the stories told and drive home the authenticity message.
We recommend one or two members of staff per table, either from the winery or importer, to introduce the wines and talk to guests. For wineries seeking distribution, please ensure that someone from the winery can travel over to staff the table.
Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers will cover all the organisation, logistics and marketing of the events, so you can focus on the visitors and your wines.
