Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers have teamed up to run trade and consumer tastings in Denmark and Sweden in October 2023.

This exciting collaboration - for the first time in the Nordics - will showcase the quality and diversity of wines from the Antipodes. It’s also the first time that both Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers have run tastings in the Nordics since 2019.

We invite you to join us and showcase your wines in Copenhagen on 23 October and Stockholm on 25 October. In each city, we will run a trade tasting, two masterclasses and an evening consumer tasting.

Through these tastings, we will help you - the producers and importers - to get Australian and New Zealand wines into the monopoly, on retail shelves, online and in wine lists, and ensure that they’re included in positive conversations across the media.

The event is a platform for wineries both in market and those seeking distribution to meet the monopoly, importers, buyers, HoReCa (on-trade, restaurants and sommeliers), media and educators. With direct access to key influencers and decision-makers, the tastings will help you to gain new business leads, secure listings and increase your in-market presence.

Registration is open for Australian and New Zealand wineries, and importers, distributors and agents in Denmark and Sweden. Full and half tables are available, and they can feature both Australian and New Zealand wines.

Without travel restrictions and with the world open again after the pandemic, we look forward to welcoming Australian and New Zealand winemakers and winery principals to the event. The presence of winemakers and principals really helps to tailor the stories told and drive home the authenticity message.

We recommend one or two members of staff per table, either from the winery or your distributor, to introduce the wines and talk to guests. For wineries seeking distribution, please ensure that someone from the winery can travel over to staff the table.

Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers will cover all the organisation, logistics and marketing of the events, so you can focus on the visitors and your wines.

For Australian wineries, state government funding support may be available for this activity. Please contact your state representative for further information.
