Wine Australia’s annual Exporter Update will be held on Thursday 23 August 2018 at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide. This year, we will present an exciting line up of speakers with a special focus on China. There will be an opportunity to ask each of the presenters questions, with guest MC Ricardo Goncalves facilitating audience participation.
Morning
Get quickly up-to-speed with a macro-economic update from Efic as well as an overview of the $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package and Wine Australia’s investment programs. Hear more about the new Australian Wine Made Our Way campaign.
Mid-morning
A fascinating insight into wine consumers and wine retail in China. Hear about where tomorrow’s consumer will buy wine in China and the traditional model of distribution into China.
Early afternoon
The afternoon will again focus on China – Australia’s largest export market for wine. In these sessions we will look at the online retail landscape in China, the importance of QR codes, the Chinese tourism market as well as counterfeiting.
Mid-afternoon
The rest of the afternoon is reserved for Wine Australia’s Regional General Managers, an update on Wine Australia’s newly released education program and on the $50 million Program grants.*
