The Australian wine sector state of play provides an overview of market conditions for Australian wine, including global economic indicators, global supply and demand and Australian supply, demand and consumer trends.
The Economic Contribution of the Australian Wine Sector describes the economic activity associated with grape growing in vineyards and wine production, and extends to the economic activity from wine related tourism. The Australian wine sector is estimated to contribute over $45 million annually to the Australian economy.
The Global Wine Supply Monitor provides half-yearly updates on the global winegrape harvest for the latest vintage and corresponding global wine consumption (demand) to give an analysis of the global supply-demand position. The information is obtained from the OIV World Vitiviniculture reports.
