This event is a valuable sampling opportunity for participating wineries - consumers can taste their way around the world of wine, and have the opportunity to purchase samples at different price points or full-bottles to take away. This event allows wineries the opportunity to take the guess-work out of consumers’ choice of wine, and build consumers’ confidence in knowing what to buy. Consumers can also begin to build an affiliation with wineries and wine brands through the ability to get to know the stories and personalities behind the wine.
Participating wineries can also use this event as an opportunity to get direct feedback from consumers and observe consumer behaviour in relation to wine and wine selection.
With the support of the Australian Government’s $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package, Hong Kong Wine and Dine 2018 aims to engage consumers and develop a broader appreciation of Australian wine.
