ProWine China is China’s leading international trade fair for wine and spirits, jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf Group and Food and Hospitality China (FHC).
This year (2020) marks Wine Australia’s sixth year participating in ProWine China, a three-day trade show which attracted more than 20,000 importers, distributors, suppliers and media from across China in 2019.
Australian wine took centre stage at ProWine China 2019. The pavilion hosted 61 Australian wine exhibitors and showcased over 100 brands from 25 regions, including a dedicated education space within the pavilion.
This year, Wine Australia have needed to remain agile and adjust many of our marketing activities to manage the risk associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Our first priority is people’s wellbeing and we will be delivering this year’s ProWine China in a modified format so we can still maximise our engagement in the China market. Given the travel restrictions and quarantine requirements related to the pandemic, Wine Australia is planning this year’s event for in-market brand representatives onsite only. Please read more about the modified presence at ProWine China in the FAQs.
Proactive PR activity and onsite Australian wine education will further amplify the Australian wine message.
Wine Australia’s presence at ProWine China 2020 is supported by the Australian Government’s $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package.
